• After 25 – 28 working days CIA – I Exam
• After 56 – 60 working days CIA – II Exam
• End of 85 – 90 working days Model Exam

As per Periyar University's rules govern university examinations, including attendance requirements, such as a minimum of 75% attendance to appear for exams, with penalties and rejoining requirements for lower attendance. Rules also address examination scheduling, credit systems.

• 75% Minimum:
  Candidates must secure at least 75% of the working days in a semester to be permitted to take the university examinations (theory/practical).
• 65-75%:
  Candidates with 65% and above attendance, but less than 75%, must pay a fine and are permitted to appear for the exams.
• 50-65%:
  Those with attendance between 50% and 65% must pay a fine and appear for both their current and later semester papers together at the end of a later semester.
• Below 50%:
  Candidates with less than 50% attendance are not allowed to take regular exams or continue studies; they must repeat the semester.

• Schemes of Examination:
  Examinations are conducted for core subjects at the end of each semester as prescribed in the relevant examination scheme.
• Elective Subjects:
  Students select elective subjects from a list provided by the concerned Board of Studies.
