The National Seminar on Global Space Technology (NSGST-17) was convened on 10th October 2017 at the K.S.R. College of Arts & Science for Women, Tiruchengode, Tamil Nadu, bringing together students, researchers and faculty members from across the country. The event addressed contemporary advances in space science and technology, including space-borne plasma analyses, developments in instrumentation, and emerging research in space mission applications. Notable invited talks were delivered on topics such as “Space Plasma Physics” and “Space Borne Plasma Analysers”, highlighting the intersection of experimental space instrumentation and theoretical modelling. The seminar provided a conducive forum for dialogue between academic scholars and practitioners, fostering awareness of India’s evolving role in the global space domain and inspiring the next generation of researchers to engage with space-technology challenges.
