Department of Microbiology organized Hands on Training on Emerging and Reemerging Viral Diseases on 17/09/2025. Around 80 students had participated on this training Dr.S.Shahitha Associate Professor, Department of Microbiology and Head Curriculum Development, Muthayammal College of Arts and Science (Autonomous) Rasiopuram was the Resource Person. The speaker started his explanation with aims to detect, research & control new & increasing viral threats through surveillance, R&D, Public Health response & awareness. Enhances global preparedness & response to viral outbreaks.
